DuPont Teflon® bonds to each fiber, creating an invisible barrier between fabric and the outside world. Liquid spills bead up quickly, food and oily spills can be lifted off the fabric and blotted clean and dry soil vacuums off easily. Even dried-in spots can be removed with spot cleaners. Shown are fabrics protected by Teflon including (from top to bottom) Maharam, Robert Allen and DesignTex.

An exciting new look on a timeless design, Athol/DECOTEX[TM] presents Café, the latest addition to its complete line of coated textile upholstery for all contract applications. Fresh and fun, all Athol products meet re-quired seating specifications and stain/wear resistance performance. Samples are available.

Shown is a line of spongeable leather in immaculate 60-foot hides from Dualoy, Inc. Dualoy also stocks several "distressed" upholstery leathers, as well as suede, parchment, shagreen, veg tan and southwest naked leathers.

The sophistication of a black-and-white living/music room designed by Busy Hands, Happy Heart of Glen Ellyn, IL, is enhanced by draping the windows in a double layer of ADO's all-string drapery, Cordon. Tightly-twisted satiny strings have been treated to resist raveling so the drapery can be scissored into swags, zigzags or other imaginative shapes.

International Fabrics debuts the Alliance Collection, featuring four patterns of inherently flame resistant Trevira FR polyester, two patterns in performance packed BASF solution dyed Zeftron®200 nylon and one pattern in superior flame retardant mod-acrylic SEF/nylon blend with a warm, wool-like hand. Inventory levels are maintained for on-time delivery.

The Textus Group unveils the Panel Fabric Collection I, a group of fabrics designed and coordinated for use on outside panels, inside panels and flipper doors. Fabric colors coordinate with the most frequently specified laminate and finishes of the top office systems. Designers also may select from 48 additional colors per pattern for a minimum yardage requirement.

The new Accommodation line from DesignTex includes a wide range of pattern and color options, stringent testing requirements and a low price point. Each style is treated with Teflon® fabric protector. The initial collection contains 19 styles with patterns ranging from bold solids and small-scale geometrics to larger floral patterns.
